Developing a COVID-19 Vaccine with Professor David Hutton
Communities around the globe are looking to the development of a vaccine to contain the COVID-19 outbreak but how soon can we expect a vaccine? Join us in a conversation about the process and challenges of vaccine development with David Hutton, Associate Professor of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health and Karen Bantel, former Professor in Business Strategy and Entrepreneurship and volunteer with the Osher Lifelong Learning Initiative (OLLI) at the University of Michigan. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at U of M is a community program of the Geriatrics Center, and with a small staff and 200 active volunteers, that capitalizes on the skills, knowledge, and experience of dedicated senior volunteers who plan and implement educational programs for our peers.
