Why We Exist
Michigan Online exists to broaden the impact of this mission by making our elite public research university’s learning experiences accessible at scale. We are rapidly growing to serve our expanding global U-M community, enabling people to connect, engage and take control of their life-long learning journeys.
What We Do
Michigan Online connects our global community of learners and help people decide which type of learning experience meets their needs, while also enabling efficient navigation of our extensive portfolio U-M learning opportunities hosted via online learning platforms such as Coursera and edX.
Most importantly, Michigan Online is growing and developing everyday. We invite learners to provide valuable feedback to influence the future of learning innovation.
Who We Are
Michigan Online is powered by the University of Michigan Center for Academic Innovation. Our team consists of learning experience designers, UX designers, software engineers, data scientists, behavioral scientists, video producers, editors, design managers and much more. Collectively we are committed to developing teaching and learning experiences that harness technology and analytics to shape the future of learning.
