Frederick Douglass (Unknown-1895)

Widely considered the most important black leader of the nineteenth century, Frederick Douglass was an African American social reformer, abolitionist, orator, writer, and statesman. After escaping from slavery in Maryland at age 20, Douglass went on to become a world-renowned anti-slavery activist.

Eddie Williams (Frederick Douglass) is a student at the University of Michigan, pursuing a BFA in Theatre Performance in the School of Music, Theatre & Dance, and a BA in psychology in the school of Literature, Science, and the Arts.
