In this module, you’ll learn about the origins of the presidential nomination and election process as the founders of the United States addressed or didn’t address it in the  U.S. Constitution, as well as changes and additions to the process that were added as recently as the 1960s.

At the end of the module, you and your fellow learners will have an opportunity to reflect on the history of this process and share out what may have surprised you as you learned from the experts.
