Understanding Sport-Related Concussion Teach-Out

In this segment Steve Broglio speaks with Mark Uyl, Executive Director of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) about his experiences with sport-related concussion as an athlete, coach, and an executive. Mark speaks about how they use mandatory reporting to collect data across all sports involved with the MHSAA and how they use this data to inform and drive concussion protocol for parents, athletes and coaches.

Mark Uyl is the Executive Director of the Michigan High School Athletics Association (MHSAA). During his tenure with MHSAA, he has served as an administrator of the catastrophic and concussion care insurance plans.
