UFOs: Scanning the Skies Teach-Out
75 Years of U.S. Government UFO Investigations / Lesson 3 of 4
The Post-Era of Project BlueBook - Bill Murphy
6 minutes
The termination of Project Blue Book was in part triggered by a statement from the Condon Committee that there was nothing more to be studied or learned from the study of UFOs - despite 701 of the over 12,000 studied cases remaining unexplained. It was concluded that:
- No UFO reported, investigated, and evaluated by the Air Force was ever an indication of threat to our national security;
- There was no evidence submitted to or discovered by the Air Force that sightings categorized as "unidentified" represented technological developments or principles beyond the range of modern scientific knowledge; and
- There was no evidence indicating that sightings categorized as "unidentified" were extraterrestrial vehicles.
In this next video, Bill covers the post-era of this disbanded project. He then talks about the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force (UAPTF), which officially began in 2020. He touches on the key players of the UAPTF and the recently released report, which ultimately, seems to have satisfied none of the interested parties.
