It seems that we may be in a period of transition in terms of UFO investigations. Between 2000 and 2015, public interest and imagination regarding UFOs mostly disappeared. All of that changed in 2017, when the New York Times, Washington Post, and Politico articles reshaped the narrative by reporting on Pentagon activity.
