Originally filmed in spring of 2018, David Daley discussed Project Redmap and will talk about the importance of the “redistricting cycle,” which is a legally required process that occurs every 10 years in which districts for the U.S. House and state legislatures are redrawn. He also talks about the implications of Project Redmap and how partisan gerrymandering has impacted recent election outcomes.
