In this interview, we’ll be hearing from a sports sociologist about the intersections of race and expression in sport.
Dr. Vernon Andrews teaches sport sociology in the Kinesiology Department at San Jose State University while pursuing his academic research on diversity in sports and other institutions. He also is a diversity consultant for employers who want their workspaces to flow with creativity and harmony. His recent book is entitled "The Control of Black Expression in American Sport and Society."
