In this interview, we’ll explore the intersection of culture, speech, and the commercial enterprise of professional sports with Mark Rosentraub, a professor of sport management and consultant to professional sports franchises.

Dr. Mark S. Rosentraub is the Bruce and Joan Bickner Endowed Professor of Sports Management and has been the director of Center for Sport and Policy at the University of Michigan since September 2009. Prior to coming to the University of Michigan he was Dean and Professor at the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University. Dr Rosentraub was also the Director and Founder of The Ruth Ratner Miller Center for Greater Cleveland’s Future, Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University. This Center commissioned research designed to build the partnerships required to advance Greater Cleveland’s economic development and commitment to equal growth.
