Extreme Weather: Tornado Season Teach-Out

Dr. Kishor Mehta is a P.W. Horn Professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering at Texas Tech University. Dr. Mehta attended the University of Michigan, where he received his B.S.E. and M.S.E. in Civil Engineering in 1957 and 1958 respectively. He also attended the University of Texas-Austin, where he received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a focus on structures.

In this conversation with Perry, he will be speaking about the effects that tornadoes have on buildings and other structures and what to do to prepare your home or workplace for a tornado.
