Esports: Leveling Up Teach-Out

There are many opportunities to engage with esports including some not so obvious ways. When you think of a career in esports you are likely thinking of a professional player who practices solo or with a team who competes and wins tournaments. It is true that there are a lot of professional competitors, but just like a basketball team is made up of more than just players on the court a successful esports organization is made of a myriad of roles including many science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) roles. Anderson, et al. (2018) details many ways that participating in an esports organization is a manifestation of STEM entrepreneurship.
