Dianne Nicol is the Director of the Centre for Law and Genetics at the University of Tasmania and a collaborator in the Global Citizens Assembly on Genome Editing. In this video, Dianne discusses a variety of regulations across the globe. This includes but is not limited to: gene technology, consumer protection, tort law, medical practice, and the approval process of new medical products (e.g., vaccinations and treatments). She also discusses the necessity of global standards as well as the barriers that we encounter during the creation and enforcement process.
