At a time when society is becoming more segregated and more diverse, there is need to increase dialogue, challenge discrimination, and create change.

Intergroup dialogue is when people communicate with others who are different from themselves, to find mutual understanding. The process enables them to learn about social identities, understand power and privilege, respond to prejudice and discrimination, identify communication styles, and increase dialogue as building blocks in organizing for social justice.
