Community Organizing for Social Justice Teach-Out

We are pleased to acknowledge the following for their involvement in the Teach-Out:

Roger Fisher, Co-Associate Director of the Program on Intergroup Relations (IGR) at the University of Michigan, and of (SYD).

Naomi Milstein, Executive Director of Chicago Freedom School (CFS). Inspired by the freedom schools in Mississippi during the civil rights movement, CFS engages young people and adult allies in social justice initiatives in schools and neighborhoods of Chicago.

Celina Miranda, Executive Director ofHyde Square Task Force (HSTF) in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, directs youth and family empowerment programs at the neighborhood level.

Kris Hill (Detroit), Maren Roeske (Grosse Pointe), Zijin Huang and Micah Starghill (Novi) area high school students who participated in the SYD program.
