Daniel Romero is an Associate Professor of Information, Computer Science, and Complex Systems at the University of Michigan. Prior to Michigan, he received his Ph.D in Applied Mathematics from the Center for Applied Mathematics (CAM) at Cornell University. His main research interest is the empirical and theoretical analysis of Social and Information Networks, Computational Social Science, and Science of Science. He is particularly interested in understanding the mechanisms involved in network evolution, information diffusion, and interactions among people on the Web and in complex organizations.
