Adrian Deva is a painter and art educator who has been teaching at the Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design since 2008. His creative work synthesizes influences from broad number of sources such as: 19th century hand colored albumen base photography, socialist modern architecture, memory and a constructed place, shifts in cultural trends, national conflicts, and migration. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in his native Kosovo, Austria, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Indonesia, Canada, Macedonia and more recently in Fórum Eugénio de Almeida, Evora, Portugal, and in Sining Makiling Gallery, University of the Philippines, Los Baños, Philippines. His work has been awarded and is featured in private and public collections.
