Engaging Social Justice, Diversity and Oppression in Social Work

Description

This course is designed to increase learners’ awareness, knowledge and critical skills related to diversity, human rights, social and economic justice. The topics of this course include developing a framework for 1) engaging diversity and differences in social work practice and 2) advancing human rights and social and economic justice. The course is organized into eight modules that include information lectures, readings, resource videos, interviews with experts, and engaging activities to encourage reflection, growth, and action. We anticipate that it will take you approximately three or four hours to complete each of the modules.
