The Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems (HILS)-Online MS degree, offered by the Department of Learning Health Sciences within the Medical School, prepares individuals to design, implement and evaluate innovative changes and continuous improvements in health systems.

Graduates will be prepared to work and lead in an emerging international movement promoting learning health systems, which are organizations or networks that continuously self-study and adapt using data and analytics to generate knowledge, engage stakeholders, and implement behavior change to transform practice.

HILS-Online is a first-in-the-nation degree focused on learning across multiple levels of scale to promote innovation and improvement in health. Faculty in the program have close affiliations with the Schools of Information, Public Health, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing and others.

HILS-Online primary focus is to address the social and technical challenges systems face in making continuous health improvement routine. The HILS-Online program places you at the forefront of this emerging science.
