U-M students, faculty, staff, and alumni have free access to Google certificates with Michigan Online

Michigan Online provides current University of Michigan students, faculty, and staff at all three campuses, as well as U-M alumni worldwide, with access to Google Career Certificates and AI Essentials courses at no cost. These Google certificates and essential short courses offer practical, in-demand skills, supplement learning, and help people advance in their careers.

With free access to Google Career Certificates:

  • Students can share certificates with potential employers on their resume or LinkedIn
  • Faculty can integrate Google content into their U-M courses
  • Staff and alumni can deepen their knowledge of in-demand skills and advance their careers

Courses are available to all enrolled students, and current faculty and staff at UM-Ann Arbor, Flint, and Dearborn, and all alumni with a current U-M uniqname.
