Lynn Carpenter, Academic Coach in the M-Sci Program and Lecturer IV in Assistant Director for Financial Education and Engagement, Office of Financial Aid, has been a faculty member at the University of Michigan since 2009. She teaches a wide range of courses, including Introduction to Evolution, General Ecology Lab, Introduction to Evolution and Ecology, Ethics, BIO 197, and Microbiology 207. In addition to her teaching, Lynn plays an active role in advising students in the MSCI program. Her advising often centers around helping students develop effective study strategies, particularly important for those coming from diverse educational backgrounds, some of whom may need additional support in adjusting to the rigor of college-level science courses.
