About
Carrie Luke is a higher education professional committed to enabling authentic, purposeful learning experiences that lead to social impact and positive change. In more than fifteen years at the University of Michigan, Carrie has lived into this mission through roles in Residence Education, the Sweetland Center for Writing, the University Library, and most recently as a Project Manager in the Office of the Provost, where she oversees a diverse portfolio of projects, many of which focus on community engagement and engaged learning. Carrie is a proud native Michigander and holds a M.A. in Written Communication from Eastern Michigan University and a B.A. in English Language & Literature, Women's Studies, and Creative Writing from U-M, where she won a Hopwood Award in poetry. Beyond the academy, Carrie advocates for women's equity and animal rights and promotes a plant-based lifestyle.
