Josh Pasek is a Professor of Communication & Media and Political Science, and core faculty at the Michigan Institute for Data & AI in Society (MIDAS) at the University of Michigan. His research explores how new media and psychological processes shape social and political attitudes, opinions, and behaviors. Josh also studies approaches for social measurement. His two books and more than 40 articles examine applications of data science to the study of elections and Josh maintains two R packages for analyzing survey data.
