If you want to become a more-polished writer, you need to take this course. Even if you have extensive experience in writing, you will learn new aspects about how to become a better writer.

This is a great course for writers at every level! I'm a graduate student in the humanities, so of course I had fairly decent writing skills already, but this gave me a much needed little boost in skill and motivation. Try it, whether you're a non-native speaker who wants to learn the basics, or a polished writer who just wants a few more tips and hints!

Professor Barry is an amazing mentor. He created a world where the students can vicariously experience an engaging atmosphere to learn. The editing tips and strategies are so worth the time spent listening to his lecture.

Absolutely wonderful and engaging course on Improving one's command over the ENGLISH LANGUAGE - written in particular. I was totally bowled over by the erudition, the quizzes, the resources, and the lectures. The instructor was nonpareil. I wished I had done this during my halcyon years.

It was a really good course. The concepts were given in a way that I could easily understand. I found various interesting topics and many books that I would love to read. Totally worths the time spent on it.

Great course overall! I loved that I learned a lot about writing strategy and not just mechanics. I wasn't expecting that, and I think it was the most valuable piece of the course.
