This was quite challenging. It changed my way of managing time; and how in every kind of writing, the writer should put in effort to make their message come across to the reader.

Excelente curso, si uno está interesado en curtir ciertas prácticas de escritura y además de engrosar la bibliografía dedicada para estos aspectos.

The Uni of Michigan is such an amazing university. Professor Barry is one of the best teachers on my list from now onward. His way of teaching is very unique. He is very experienced and a good nature teacher. He knows well how to engage students even far away hundreds of kilometers. Eventually, Thanks Coursera to give me this opportunity. Strongly recommend this course to non-native English writers, especially Asian people.

Slides are a real mess. The class is unorganized and assumes that the student has previous knowledge on the subject. For instance, half of first few classe uses football examples. I am not american. I know nothing about football. On the next week, it starts discussing grammar and comma splits. The lecture never defines what a comma split is but ask us to identify one.

I loved taking this course I feel like I learned a lot . too bad there are no official credits towards a degree .

Awful. This course appears to be a plug for the instructors book.

For this course it is five stars from me. The content: lectre clips, discussions and questions, opinion polls makes it top notch. Thank you Coursera!

I did not finish this specialty or this course because it was not what I expected. An honest name for the course would be: How to Spin Words So People See What You Want Them To See. I would like to be able to remove this course from my in-progress list.
