Great course! Dr. Severance is an engaging lecturer. His staff do a good job answering questions on the discussion forums and the programming assignments will really help you build skills.

fantastic walkthough the basics of getting data from modern api's.

I think it only scratches the surface of the subject but it is definitely a great introduction. I would have appreciated more practical examples, not only the google and twitter APIs

This course provides a good overview of how to use Python to access web data. It is less helpful in terms of teaching you the actual coding to do so. So you will learn what is within the realm of the possible. You will likely still need a lot of studying and practicing beyond this course to be able to do it independently yourself.

Excellent course and the video are top class which starts from scratch of the respective topic.

Enjoyed Professor Severance's online teaching. He made the materials easier to grasp.
