Excellent, rigorous introduction into Pyhton Basics.

It is a great course for beginers like me. I have a little knowlege in c. So the processing became a little easier for me. Nevertheless it won't be a big problem if someone is completely unaware of programming. It would only take a little more time and effort for complete beginers.

The practical excercises, the content are just the right content for anyone to master Python.

Overall a good course. Especially, the accompanying interactive book was great. I think that book alone is enough for someone to learn the basics of Python.

Spectacular course! There were so many great aspects to it (the very pleasing introduction in which we meet everyone involved in the Python 3 Programming Specialization, the lectures, the interactive textbook, and the practice tool). The interactive textbook makes learning a pleasure. The practice tool ensures that one gets to reinforce didactics. I highly recommend this course to those who want to learn Python programming or wish to improve their basic knowledge of the language. P.S. Hope you enjoy Professor Resnick's "nerdy pun humor." I certainly did!

always the bugs!!!! MAD. Got BEHIND cuz of a glitch for 2 days over a week ago. it was fixed next day or so. Had to reset my course deadlines....NOT WORKING. wow Coursera. you are full of it!!

Not as challenging as py4e, but probably a better first step for students new to programming. This is baby steps where as py4e is swim or sink. I personally like the challenge of the former. The quality of instruction in both is very good.

I like the interactive way to practice.
