Ratings and Reviews for Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)

Awesome introduction to Python. I am excited with the course, Thanks a lot Dr. Chuck. Thanks a lot Coursera.

Great course to get you started with python programming.

it was very helpfull course

This is so good for beginners.

i really like the teacher

Very interactive but the solutions to the practice exercise should be included at the end of the course or anywhere else.

I loved the course. Dr. Chuck is as always charming you through the course. Despite I know more than most of the course contents, I got a lot, specially about the way I can apply a functional multi-platform really simple programming text editor called Atom. Dr. Chuck (as the brilliant Instructor of the course), Coursera (for the generosity of its financial aid), and the university of Michigan (for its contribution and cooperation), Thank you so much all. I wish you all the best. You are all making my life better and better together. Again Thanks a million dear fiends of mine @-

Absolutely delighted to learn a few basic principles of Python programming. I had to think logically and that helped me to handle some of the questions.

Very easy to get into even if you have zero programming experience. Material is clear, and there's enough moments of dry wit and humor through the course and materials to keep you engaged. Read the chapters, watch the lectures, then do the quizes and assignments and you should never have problems.
