a bit slow but good for someone with zero experience

Very nice course for starting programing with Python.

Clear and concise introduction to python basics. For beginners, just be aware that this course will not enable you to program in Python well enough for most real-world applications. If you really want to learn Python, take the rest of the courses offered through the specialization to understand how to utilize the language well.

Great introductory course to understand basic programming concepts such as variables, conditional logic, functions and loops. Solidified understanding I got from dabbling previously.

It is a very interesting course which will help you to understand and start doing your own programming. The professor is really pedagogic so you will find it easy to lear.

This course was excellent for the beginner. A little more content for the length would have made it 5 stars.

All lectures are presented very professionally and in form which is easy to understand. Steady progress easy to learn. Unfortunately practical part doesn't allow too much flexibility to play with the code. To do extra work, add some features, be just little more creative. I understand that it was graded by program and needs to have some limits but this can be solved by given hard criteria that needs to be met and peer assessment grading which will wider students horizon by checking others code. To see others ideas. This missing spark for creativity make me to give "only" 4 starts. In whole it is great course worth any minute spend. Thank you. Vlad

The instructor is excellent, my background is in finances, but I feel very comfortable with the way that Dr. Chuck explains everything, I really enjoy this class!!
