Simple straight forward and engaging. The course material is well crafted. I loved learning python and all lectures were succint in nature.
nice
I didn't enter this course because I wanted to learn Python as such; well that too, but I would actually like to teach, mentor, inspire and influence people in a positive way. If I can be only half as good as Dr. Chuck, I'll be a very happy man :) When I have the financial resources, I would seriously consider doing the rest of the Python Specializations too. Thanks Francois Laubscher, South Africa.
Good introduction to Python. Examples and assignments were just what I needed to get a jumpstart. Professor has an amazing and funny teaching style (if you're someone from the coding industry), helps chill out and relax and learn at the same time !! Thank you very much !! Can't believe it's all free ...
Dr Chuck is extremely dedicated to teaching and clarity. His personality is very welcoming and he speaks clearly and thoughtfully. Some of the 'younger' MOOC instructors need to learn this to be more effective. I am going to try R Programming again.. but I wish John's Hopkins would take a few of Dr. Chuck's coures for inspiration on how to be more accessible. Thanks Dr. C! PLEASE KEEP IT FREE
We tried to use this class to teach a brown bag lunch for our employees interested in programming. Python is a great language but this class has a very low content to volume ratio (nobody wants to watch the instructor meet his life-time idol at a trade-show or watch the Intel versus AMD melt-down commercials over their lunch break).
Nicely crafted course for beginners
Clear, concise, everything I needed to get started programming in python.
Great class with an even better Professor instructing it! Would highly recommend this class to anyone new to programming.
That was very good lecture. I loved the teacer, and his technic.
