It is a good course to get familiar not only with Python, but with programming as well.

The lecturer and the course are great! Perfect for beginners!

I've taken a few introductory programming courses from different providers but i think this is the best one so far for people who are starting off. It lives up to the title "Programming for Everybody". Prof Severance makes it fun which I think is important in the beginning because programming is hard!

Bastante completo como curso introductorio, sin embargo no esta actualizado. Utiliza python 2.x, cuando las versiones mas recientes son las de la 3.x. La sintaxis de python 3 es bastante distinta a la de python 2 en algunos aspectos, especialmente la funcion print que tanto es usada en este curso introductorio. Si se toma este curso debe complementarse con algo que permita trasladar los conocimientos adquiridos a python 3
