Took this as "Programming for Everybody"--my very first programming class. Loved it. It was hard from time to time, but well worth it. It's not likely I will do programming for a living, but understanding this medium makes a big difference for me when I encounter issues related to technology, data and the web. I believe everyone can benefit from some exposure to the world of programming. And this is by far the best course offered online.

A very good course for beginners, especially those who have not programmed anything before. If you have prior experience in programming and not aiming for the Specialization, you can just skip ahead ;) Just one note: if you're really enthusiastic, all the content here won't be enough for you!

The best programming teacher I have ever met, he makes many things which used to be hard for me seem to be interesting. I begin to be a python lover.

还不错，零基础入门，就是对作业的讲解度不太够。在每单元的小工具作业完成后解锁相应讲解，最好是多种方法的。

Professor Charles Severance is excellent at what he is doing. He can make even people new to coding or even general computer science concepts understand what he is teaching :)

It's a clear and nice tutorial. Although I've learned python before, I still find it fascinating and worthy to spend several hours to review some of the basics. And the professor himself is super humorous. Good experience, 5/5
