Ratings and Reviews for Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)

great course, best teacher!

Best course for beginners. I would love to learn more from Dr. Charles Severance. What a great professor! Thank you for the free book and materials.

loved it

Too basic

Helpful for understanding the basics.

I really like the main information I got with this course, but I think that it was too basic. I never learned any programming language before this course, but sometimes I felt that the teacher was going too slow on explaining somethings.

I am excited to finally start learning Python and I found the structure and approach used in the first course in the series very easy to pick up and follow along. Thanks for making this Coursera experience interesting, engaging, and fun!

Great instructor, great course, easy to follow.

A really good introductory course for anyone interested in getting into Python. If you're experienced in coding, the beginning is a bit slow, but it picks up quickly by introducing Python specific features.

easy to understand!
