Starting from Zero !! I continued and finished this in 5 days ~ thanks to the amazing Prof. !

Nice, but I didn't like that there are some topics that are surely not for beginners!

It is the perfect place for beginners as it provides a steady pace of materials, accompanied by challenging tasks and practicing problems.

The instructions for this course could have been better! The instructor's enthusiasm for the course is evident, but his instructions were woefully incomplete and unclear. Through out the course, I got the impression that the instructor was more interested in demonstrating his Python programming knowledge than to effectively impart that knowledge, resorting to the course becoming more of a test of whits rather than increasing knowledge. If the course is intended for 'Everybody' then the assumption must be that there are people taking the course with absolutely no programming background, which was my case. I spent far more hours researching Google and other sources to find answers and as such the question then becomes; why am I paying Coursera? On the last point, questions for help with assignments were followed up with unclear cryptic explanations. In sum, I feel short changed by this experience.

That was fun! It started easy and became slightly more demanding towards the end. Charles Severance is a brilliant teacher, explaining things - and repeating them - in ways that make it easy to follow him through his introduction to Python 3.
