Great overview to introduce Python. Good material. Good conceptual examples. Trainer is very knowledgeable. Very clear and informative course.

I really enjoyed this course, well structured for beginners. My recommendation is that add additional practice exercises after the end of every video so that students can practice what they learn before going to the next video.

I have never gave a 5-Star review on anything that I can recall because nothing is perfect, but this course on Python, which was taught by Charles Severance on Coursera, was the best programming course that I have taken by far. The way Charles Severance approach and explains the details about Python, allows anyone to understand Python and coding regardless of the person's background or experience. I look forward to continue my learning in Python and any other course(s) offered by the University of Michigan and Charles Severance. I think that this course is a must for people that have never learned or have a little knowledge about Python. The flow of the lectures and the friendly attitude of the instructor makes you sit infront of the computer for hours and not want to take a break.
