It was very well designed course for a beginner.
Dr. Chuck is an excellent teacher, and I have recommended this course to several friends of mine! Thank you for the opportunity to learn.
If you're brand new to programming, this course is right on the money. It’s clear, beginner-friendly, and patiently paced—which makes sense given the title. "Python for Everybody" isn’t just marketing fluff; it’s a literal mission. That said, if you’re coming in with a programming background—or even just trying to patch a few Python-shaped holes in your skillset—you might find the content a bit slow or overly basic. The instructor explains everything thoroughly, which is great for beginners, but can feel like overkill for anyone who already knows what a variable is. My advice? Watch the videos at 1.5x or 2x speed. Skip the parts you already know. Use it as a low-pressure warm-up or refresher. There’s still value here, especially if you want to build a solid foundation in Python from the ground up. I noticed a few negative reviews floating around, and while some of the critiques are valid, many folks seem to forget that this course isn’t aimed at seasoned developers. It’s called “Python for Everybody”—not “Python for People Who’ve Been Coding for Years and Just Want a Quick Recap.” All in all, it’s a solid introduction. Just manage your expectations based on your starting point.
