Ratings and Reviews for Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)

Solid foundation.

Great course. I learned the basics of Python and was able to write simple codes and run them from the command prompt. The professor - Dr. Severance is a very cool teacher. Discussions and explanations are clear, full of examples and fun. Highly recommended!

Professor is great (both online and in real life!)

if you are thinking and wondering whether learning a programming language like Python is for you, think no more. This first course took me step by step in learning the very basic of Python and I got more confident in learning this and I am taking the second course. The lecture is super friendly and fun and he is very down-to-earth. Kudos C.S!

Good for a beginner who interests to start learn programming

Loved it! Only sometimes felt a little slow. Problem sets were sufficiently challenging and reinforced the material well.

Very nice course to ,introduce in python. Excellent for beginners.

I took this course in order to allow me to help my 14 year old son who is learning Python at school. I loved the short videos, the worked examples and the ease with which I could install the Atom editor and Python3 on my iMac. Once started I couldn't stop and I completed the course in 2 days. If you want to learn Python, this is a great route to take.
