Great introduction course. For anyone with no experience coding.

Simply understandable course. Good for the first steps.

Although the pretence is to learn not only Python but also to become a good programmer, only the Python language is explained thoroughly. Nor 'how to program' nor 'how to become a good programmer' are given attention. The examples both in the course and used from the web are not examples of good programming. I agree that good names for variables are important but good programming is way more than good variable names. A missed chance to learn newbies good habits

The best course I've taken on Coursera so far. I appreciate the natural lecture approach as opposed to the word-for-word scripted lectures in other courses. Dr. Chuck's approach to teaching programming would be helpful to those with zero coding experience, and is useful to those with more experience looking to review the basics.
