Excellent course to start for PYTHON programming

THIS COURSE IS GOOD IT WILL GIVE YOU ALL THE BASIC KNOWLEDGE YOU WOULD REQUIRED TO START WRITING A PROGRAM.

good course could be improved by updating outdated sections and have a little more substance/help with understanding the assignments as they can be quite confusing also the auto grader is very bugged/glitched and can sometimes give you false errors when the code is fine otherwise great course would recommend. :)

Excellent intro to Python!

Professor Severance is great, really breaks it down and simplifies everything to where someone who is not efficient in programming to understand.

Very good about breaking everything down to a beginner level. There are a lot of examples and walk-throughs that allow students to practice the lessons learned in class. The textbook is easy-to-read and the course itself is very fun. Have already recommended it to friends.

It is a good start to learn to program, thanks to the University of Michigan for offering it. I will continue taking more courses that this university offers. I loved it
