The mindfulness course was insightful and meaningful. It helped me develop self-awareness, compassion, emotional balance, and a deeper understanding of dignity and mindfulness in daily life. The course inspired me to build positive relationships and lead a more mindful, peaceful, and connected life.
This course has been a meaningful and enriching learning experience. It helped me understand the importance of mindfulness, human dignity, empathy, compassion, and genuine human connection in our daily lives.
Through the concepts of cultural humility, generosity, wonder, intersectional awareness, and negative capability, I learned to appreciate different perspectives, respect individual identities, and approach others with an open mind and heart. The course encouraged me to listen patiently, avoid quick judgments, and recognize the dignity and worth of every human being.
The reflections and activities helped me understand that mindfulness is not just about being aware of the present moment; it is also about being aware of our thoughts, emotions, actions, and relationships with others. I realized that small acts of kindness, respectful communication, and compassionate listening can create meaningful connections and build inclusive communities.
As an educator, I believe these lessons will help me create a classroom where every child feels valued, respected, safe, and included. Overall, this course has inspired me to grow personally, connect with others more deeply, and lead a life guided by dignity, compassion, and mutual respect.
Thank you for providing such a thoughtful and transformative learning experience.

Very good
I just finished listening to Ram Mahalingam's "Mindfulness, Dignity, and Art of Human Connection" lecture in Coursera. The lecture was chiseled with sensible metaphors, appropriate examples, thought-provoking case studies, relevant research works, and creative, contemplative exercises. It was intellectually stimulating and therapeutic at the same time! Before listening to Ram's social justice-informed approach to mindfulness, I thought of mindfulness only as a self-care practice. But Ram guided me to realize how I could use them to be a better being and benefit everyone around me through my presence! I strongly recommend his course to anyone looking to find a safe space within themselves!
