perfect
material is good, assignments are annoying due to the autograder and some mistakes.
I HOPE THIS VALUABLE REVIEW OF MINE WILL GET THE ATTENTION AND ACTIONS WILL BE TAKEN...... The course may be good and teach a lot of things, but the worst experience I've had is during the assignments. Coursera's assignment verification and grading system is the absolute worst I've ever encountered. Literally, I completed all the assignments with the right code, and the outputs were correct to my own satisfaction. Yet, after submitting, they did not grade a single score to my code and answers, simply stating that the answers did not match theirs. This is utterly demotivating and discouraging. Then, after trying repeatedly and getting no positive feedback, I resorted to copying code from various websites and pasting them into the assignment. Only then did some of the answers get graded, while others remained unaccepted. It was a frustrating trial-and-error process. After numerous experiments with different codes from various sources, I was finally able to get all the assignments graded as PASSED. I want to make one thing crystal clear: ANYONE TRYING TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE FROM THE GIVEN STUDY MATERIALS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE ASSIGNMENTS WITHOUT RESORTING TO CHEATING. Even if their code is right to the greatest extent, they will definitely get frustrated and may get stuck in a loop of completing the assignment if they try to do it on their own.
too fast while giving the idea of the subject, and condensed.. its hard to get the important information
I'm completely disappointed with this course. The course material is very poorly designed: didactic seems to be a foreign word for the course designers. Just a few jupyter notebook examples, transcripts taken from hastily read out videos. The assignments are quite tough and require a massive amount of time: for the assignment 3 it took me about 50 hours, for assignment 4 a little less. The only good job is doing the staff in the discussion forum. Basically you have to organize your learning all by yourself if you want to achieve a solid foundation in pandas and numpy - this course doesn't provide it. One is better off in buying a book and studying that. The assignments are probably real life examples but their difficulty doesn't match with what is being taught in the learning materials.
A useful course on pandas and numpy in python. It's very challenging for new programmers(like me),but teaching assistants replies messages in the discussion forum really quick ,so I completed this course with their help(thank you so much):)
