Needs updated and more structured lessons. It is all over the place and too outdated in many things, especially the text editor. Timelines need to be more succinct with the lessons. When what you should be learning before and at the beginning or prior to the final week and or tests or next modules is way out of order, it makes it difficult to follow.
I recently completed the "Interactivity with JavaScript" course from the University of Michigan on Coursera, and it was an excellent learning experience. The course provided a comprehensive introduction to JavaScript, covering key concepts such as variables, functions, and looping. The hands-on approach with real-world examples, like creating interactive HTML5 forms and photo galleries, made the learning process engaging and practical. The modules on DOM manipulation and event handling were particularly insightful, enabling me to create dynamic and interactive web pages. The course structure was well-organized, and the instructor's explanations were clear and easy to follow. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to enhance their web development skills and add interactivity to their websites. It has definitely boosted my confidence in using JavaScript for web development projects.

I liked the tutors that are there at coursera they are really awesome especially colleen van lent. she really taught me well.
Could complete course. Course requires the Learner to post course material at an external website host of their choice. I did not feel comfortable posting course content outside of Coursera, & so could not complete the course. This was not explained in the Course Description page, the page even suggests that the course can be completed without additional software, but it is not true. Contacted Support many times. Received only disconcerted ambivalence from Coursera Support. Disappointing waste of time and effort, discouraging the experience of learning online. Also, contacted instructor, no reply. Systematic failure of Coursera, both in regard to maintaining reasonable expectations of course content, as well as followup through Coursera Support seeking resolution. Very disappointed.
