Well that was awesome

Yes!, wonderful. I got everything I needed. Love the presenters and they way they set the stage to make it interesting and interactive. I left with a clear understanding of Community Social Justice. I am ready to share with my community.

Weeks 1-3 felt like a pretty good social justice course, and weeks 4-5 felt like an okay organizing course, but they felt disjointed. Week 6 was review. I felt like I learned everything from weeks 1-3 in my anti-racism courses already. I would have loved to see weeks 4-5 expanded into the whole course and made much more practical and tactical. I was hoping to learn the specifics of how to plan a town hall presentation, protest, social media campaign etc. And how to talk to targets (politicians) to gain support. I'd love to see a course where we actually build an action plan for a tactic as a final assignment.

I highly recommend this course to anybody interested in social justice, community organising and social work. It was a great introduction to the process and steps needed to take action with a group of persons sharing the same concerns. The testimonies of persons involved in community organising projects and in facilitating intergroup dialogue were very interesting and I learnt a lot from their experiences.

Es una excelente introducción a la formación de grupos comunitarios organizados. Deja muy claros los conceptos que llevan a la predominancia de algunos sobre otros, como detectar las claves y como trabajar sobre eso para empoderar a los desventajados.

What an incredible experience! It organized several concepts that I already had in my mind about diversity and inclusion, but in an integrated way with other concepts of social justice.
