About Building Applications with React

Welcome to Building Applications with React! This is the fourth and final course in a four-part series focused on JavaScript. This course focuses on React, the most widely used library for building web applications. React is used in many of the most popular websites and has become a foundational skill for front-end developers.
You will learn how to write basic React applications, integrate them with plain JavaScript and other libraries, and deploy React applications. You will also build an understanding of how React works under the hood and how to understand and debug common problems with React code. Through hands-on projects, you will gain the skills to build intermediate-level React applications.

Course Schedule
Module 1: React Fundamentals
- You will learn how React helps you build dynamic user interfaces.
- You will create components with JSX and reuse them with props.
- You will render lists and conditional content.

Module 2: React Hooks
- You will learn how Hooks help React components remember information, respond to changes, and manage side effects.

Module 3: React Design Patterns and Deployment
- You will learn how to manage state across multiple React components.

- You will build multi-view applications with routing.
- You will use URLs and route parameters to support navigation.
- You will preserve state across navigation.
- You will prepare your application for deployment to static hosting.
Grading Policy
Learners must earn 80% overall to pass. There are three module quizzes, each worth approximately 33% of your final grade.
